What makes up a"Healthy Diet" for your eye sight?


 The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services and the Department of Agriculture recommends this Dietary Guidelines for good vision.

  • Lots of fruits, vegetables and whole grains
  • Fat-free or low-fat milk and milk products
  • Include lean meats, poultry, fish, beans, eggs and nuts.
  • Should be low in saturated fats, trans fats, cholesterol, salt (sodium) and added sugars. High-calorie and low-nutrient  foods can be harmful to both the body and eyes.
